Morning Elegance

This does sound beautiful and I just imagine a very tall, ballerina-type of the girl that floats around, not touching the ground, speaking in a Marilyn Monroe manner and carrying a very heavy book that of course, does not seem so heavy, but more of a feather. And then I step into my living room, waking up in the morning, carrying just my phone but it seems like I carry a couple of heavy books and I just have to taste the first morning coffee to be able to speak properly. Only the shower does the trick, I must say and only after that I do feel normal, but still I would love to wear something comfortable, to jump in some loose pants or a hoodie. If it is summer, I do love to wear dresses! Lots of colorful, playful dresses! May they all come to me, yes, please! But, thank God, my job doesn't require an office suit and I can happily wear whatever I wish. (a very big grin on my face right now)

But I do ask myself how these morning people who look so smart in suits or very tight dresses and heels can pull this outfit off at 7 a.m.? I do admire you, don't get me wrong! And I may feel a bit envy, because I can wear that only at 7 p.m., if it is really really necessary! But otherwise, give me elegance all right but with some comfort too! And I go back to the quote "elegance... is how you carry yourself" and I think I may just agree to that and take some ballet lessons!
